    Demolition questions we get asked

Straight answers on scope, cost drivers and what to send. Anything not covered here, call Zeke and ask.

    What structures do you demolish?

Sheds, outbuildings, decks, pools and other small structures, including the debris removal and disposal that goes with them. Structures requiring engineered demolition, asbestos abatement or utility company involvement are referred out or coordinated with the right specialist.

Do I need a permit to demolish a shed or pool?

Usually yes for anything permitted when it was built, and pool removal almost always requires one. Requirements are set by your city or county building department, not by us. Confirm what they need before scheduling so the work and the paperwork line up.

What happens to the utilities before demolition?

Power, water, gas and any irrigation or pool plumbing serving the structure have to be disconnected or capped before demolition starts. Some of that has to be done by the utility or a licensed trade. Tell us what is connected when you request the estimate so the sequencing is planned.
